CRUCIFIED DIE IN THE NAME OF GOD

A taxi driver South Korea claimed to have strong religious beliefs has been found dead in a cross after the crucifixion of Christ to emulate, according to police notes of Gyeongsang province. The taxi driver's body 58 years of age was found Sunday on a wooden cross in an abandoned quarry in the city of Mungyeong, nails passing through their hands and feet to reach the wood surface.

Local police said the man, wearing only underwear and a crown of thorns, had a stab wound in the right waist and several whip marks, in what seems a clear reconstruction the passion and death of Christ. Police have revealed that the deceased's name is Kim and reported that the scene was a mirror to the cross, where the deceased could be reflected crucified, and other elements such as a hammer, a drill and knife. "Furthermore, we found the place documents describing how to build a cross and carry out a crucifixion," said one police officer told AFP. Although there is an ongoing forensic examination to determine the cause of death, police said could be due to excessive blood loss.

Kim has been described by neighbors as a man fascinated by Christianity and considered it a religious fanatic. Police are still determining whether he committed suicide or was assisted by other people. Have not even ruled out a murder. The people of South Korea are divided between Buddhists (10 million), Protestants (8.6 million) and Catholics (5.1 million), although its population reaches 49 million people, according to official figures.
